About Electricaire

Renewable Energy

Electricaire is an electrical engineering company based in Bellshill, Central Scotland; with over 30 years of experience in the electrical trade.

We specialise in the design, installation and maintenance of photovoltaic systems for both commercial and domestic properties.

We are in partnership with Marlec a provider of both on and off grid solar and also Stiebel Eltron a heating company who specialise in air, ground source and solar thermal heating.

Our experience ranges from the domestic to industrial and we have contracts with local government, large local businesses, academic institutions and household insurance groups.

Another division of the company is Electricaire Spares which specialises in electrical components; this is a popular website that sells to both trade and the public all over the UK.

As we have been trading for over 30 years, unlike many other installers of this type of equipment, we are able to draw from vast experience to ensure a 1st class professional job from a 1st class professional organisation.

Feed-in Tariffs

Clean Energy Cashback

Feed-In Tariffs (also known as FITs or 'Clean Energy Cashback') are a scheme that pays people for creating their own "green electricity".

The tariffs pay you for all the electricity you produce and also pay you for electricity you export into the grid. Additionally you save money by reducing your standard electricity bill using the clean energy you have produced yourself.

Under the scheme there are two tariffs that will provide you with your tax-free cash back:

Generation Tariff is a set tariff through which your electricity supplier pays you a fixed amount for every unit of electricity your system generates for 25 years, whether you use this electricity or export it to the National Grid.

Export Tariff is the amount you earn in addition to the Generation Tariff for any electricity you don't use and export back to the national grid, through your electricity supplier.

Now you can calculate your own savings here on our site.

Find out more about Feed in Tariffs via the Department of Energy and Climate Change or the Energy Saving Trust information pages and Cashback Calculator.
